EFPA Spain has opened registrations for the 9th edition of EFPA Congress, which will take place from 6 to 8 May 2026 at the Palau de Congressos in Palma de Mallorca. This year’s theme, “From Saving to Investing: The Power of Financial Advice,” reflects Europe’s growing need to shift from a culture of saving to one of long‑term investment — with financial advisors playing a central role in this transition.

The Congress will gather leading voices from across the financial sector to discuss the evolving economic and regulatory landscape, the impact of artificial intelligence on financial services, new investment trends, and the importance of understanding savings behaviour across generations.

Santiago Satrústegui, Chair of EFPA Spain, highlighted the significance of the event:

“EFPA Congress has become a true laboratory of ideas, helping us address the challenge of transforming the way we save and reinforcing the role of the financial advisor as a key driver of this change. Palma de Mallorca offers the perfect setting for an inspiring and successful Congress.”

The EFPA Spain delegation in the Balearic Islands, led by Enrique Juan de Sentmenat, will host this edition, following the successful 2024 Congress in Málaga. The region now counts more than 650 EFPA‑certified professionals.
