The 14th EFPA Poland Congress was held on October 17 and 20 , gathering 1500+ participants including figures from the Polish and international financial market, managers of financial institutions, certified EFPA financial advisors, special guests and market leaders.

For the first time, the Congress was held in a new, two-day formula: online on October 17 and online and in-person on October 20, at the Digital Knowledge Village in Warsaw at ul. Puławska 457.

The main themes of this year’s Congress focused around:

THE CERTIFIED FINANCIAL ADVISOR IN THE WORLD OF PARADOXES. How to build value for clients in the twists and turns of today’s finances? 

The Congress took off on October 17th with the Congress Academy: an intensive dose of specially prepared webinars, conducted by the best market experts in the field of investment and financial consulting.

On the second day of the Congress, special guests, speakers and panelists were faced in their speeches and discussions with a selection of the most important current issues, which to a great extent shape financial markets and the work of people in the financial sector today.

Some 42 panelists and guest speakers sought to provide some answers on questions such as:

  • Is a green transformation possible in times of war and energy crisis: will we vote with our wallets for ESG investments? How to build a culture of professional financial advice in a market dominated by product sales
  • Is Is it possible to be a good advisor for both Generation Z and Generation Silver customers, two growing customer segments: do we know our customers?
  • Do we need robots to have time to build relationships with customers: technology vs. humans?
  • Will access to knowledge democratize the level of competences or will we be drowned in a tsunami of junk information and “fake news”: how to build professional reliability and competences of the future on a regulated market
  • How to reconcile the role of “I – employee” and ” I – owner of the company “My Personal Brand”

Over 1500 participants joined the Congress, including:
